Wine importing |
GrHi, I am looking to start a business importing wine from the Friuli region in Italy. The wine in the region is regarded as one of the best producers in Italy but is very difficult to get hold off. I have contacts directly with the producers and have also made contact with a few customers in this country. I also have money available to invest and will expect the same. The only problem I have is not wanting to do it by myself. I live in Warwickshire, but you can be anywere provided you are prepared to travel. I have a suitable place organised for storage, which in time could be turned into a kind of celler customers can visit. The premises is located in the basement of a hotel so licences will be no problem. My wife is the General Manager in the hotel so rent will be cheap and she can act as our personel licence.
