Countrywide Signs are, quite simply, experts at carrying out the management of these signs and have next to no corporate competition in this field. Like estate agents, they make great use of modern technology in the form of the internet, text messaging and Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) to provide the best possible service to their clients. They also print and supply high quality sign boards to Estate Agents and this offers added value for both estate agents and franchisees. Countrywide Signs are full members of the British Franchise Association and all franchisees are ISO 9001 certified.

Each franchise area can be built, if desired, into a multi-van territory, and Countrywide Signs would encourage franchisees to build their business past a one van operation.

What We Do

Almost every home on an Estate Agent's books, almost every sale they make involves a sign being erected, changed and ultimately retrieved. In most cases it is not cost effective for an Agent to have a staff member with this sole responsibility. In a small practice the job frequently falls to the Agent himself. While it is a vital job and one he absolutely must have done correctly, highly trained and qualified Estate Agents should really be spending their time surveying properties, preparing valuations - and making sales.

Training

You do not need previous experience or knowledge of Estate Agency. You will receive full training in sales, marketing, administration and operational procedures, learning everything you need to run your own sign business.

Operational & Technical Backup

We will provide advice and guidance on the complete business system, further training as appropriate and regular meetings to review your business as it develops. A high degree of ongoing management support is crucial to the success of any franchise organisation. It will always be the highest priority at Countrywide Signs.

Marketing

The nine training days comprehensively cover marketing: our materials, what to say, how to best present yourself. Also during the first few months your area manager will be working closely with you making sure everything is going well.

We have a unique sales and marketing system designed to maximise your sales potential, many areas come with guaranteed turnover and this can be discussed at a meeting.

IT & Admin Systems

We are at the forefront of web based board management systems in our sector and are continually developing new products to enhance our franchisees' profitability.

The Van

Countrywide Signs make the first payment on a Ford Transit Van.
The van is fully liveried, lined, racked and fitted out, to provide a truly turn key facility.

Territory

Countrywide Signs' territories are generally large, and always exclusive. On green field sites a franchisee can operate between 3-5 vans.

The idea is to start with one van, and then over time grow into the franchised area, usually this will take at least a year.

It is up to you how far you go. You can have a man and van type operation, or within a short period develop a management franchise.

Turnover

Our top franchisee in 2006 turned over in excess of £250,000, with many others exceeding £150,000.

If financing is necessary the high street banks will usually accept a minimum deposit of £8,000 to finance the remainder.
